なんだか今日は甘いものが食べたい気分。そんな日、目の前に現れたのが、このモンブラン。自家製のマロンペーストを使っているんだけど、甘すぎなくてちょうどいい感じ。こういうの、求めてたんだよなぁと思わずつぶやいてしまう。  

スポンジケーキの上にはブルーベリーアイスがのっていて、これがまたふわふわでおいしいの。冷たくて軽やかで、まるでひんやりした風が通り抜けるみたいな感じ。その上にカスタードクリームとカカオラムホイップがちょこんとのってるんだけど、これがなんとも贅沢な組み合わせでね。カスタードのコクとカカオの香りが、お互いに「どうぞどうぞ」と譲り合ってるみたいに調和してるのよ。  

しかもその横には栗みたいな形のクッキーが添えられてて、これがまたかわいい。食べるのが惜しくなるくらい。でも食べるとほろっとほどけて、これまたおいしいんだよね。そして全体にはココナッツクッキーがパラパラと散らされてて、サクサクとした食感がまた楽しい。  

ひとくち食べるごとに、「あ、次はこれだ」「今度はこっちか」と小さな驚きが待ってて、まるで宝探しみたいな気分。これを食べてる時間、なんだかとっても幸せだったなぁ。そういえば、あの日の自分にこのモンブランの話をしてあげたら、きっとすごく喜ぶだろうなぁ、なんて考えながら、最後のひとくちを大事に味わったのでした。

The Little Story of Mont Blanc and Blueberry Ice Cream

Some days, you just crave something sweet. On one of those days, this Mont Blanc appeared before me. Made with house-made chestnut paste, it wasn’t overly sweet—just the perfect balance. I couldn’t help but murmur to myself, *This is exactly what I needed.*  

On top of the sponge cake sat a scoop of fluffy blueberry ice cream. It was light and cool, like a gentle breeze passing through. And then there were the custard cream and cacao rum whipped cream, perched delicately on top. Their richness and aroma seemed to harmonize effortlessly, as if they were politely saying to each other, *After you.*  

Beside it lay an adorable cookie shaped like a chestnut. It was almost too cute to eat, but when I did, it crumbled beautifully, adding yet another layer of delight. Scattered over the whole dessert were tiny coconut cookies, bringing a satisfying crunch to every bite.  

Each mouthful brought a little surprise: *Oh, this one’s next!* or *Now for this flavor!* It felt like a treasure hunt, with every discovery making me smile. While savoring the last bite, I thought to myself, *If only I could tell my past self about this Mont Blanc—how thrilled they’d be!*  

And so, I finished this delightful dessert, feeling lucky to have stumbled upon such a sweet, little moment of happiness.
